Bluff Knoll, part of the Stirling Ranges in the Stirling Range National Park, southern Western Australia. There are spectacular views at the top, especially for those who are willing to drag themselves out of bed and make it to the top for sunrise.

These magnificent kookaburras were welcome visitors in the early morning at Allenvale Cottages in Victoria, near Lorne approximately 150km south west of Melbourne.

The nectar of this beatuiful yellow flower was being feasted on by these small flies. There were what looked like small secondary flowers around the rim of the central bud which the flies were attracted to.
