The Great Temple of Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
These photo's are taken within the three rectangular galleries.
On the walls within the galleries can be seen many amazing bas-reliefs (see next post).
The structure of the temple consists of:
1. A surrounding moat (which is 190m wide), which encloses
2. An apron of open ground 30 m wide which surrounds
3. An outer wall (which is 3.6 km long, and 4.5 m high)
4. Inside the outer wall are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next.
5. At the centre of the temple stands four towers.
Entrance to the temple is by either:
1. An earth bank (to the east)
2. A sandstone causeway (to the west) - this is the main entrance and is a later addition.
This information, and much more, is available at WIkipedia, the article can be found here
