Elephants give rides in the afternoons on Bang Tao Beach, Phuket.
An elephant waits for passengers
Passengers have an uncomfortable wait at an angle after climbing up into the saddle atop an elephant.
Once the elephant is standing, the mahout (driver) climbs up onto the elephant.
The mahout makes it up onto the elephant's head. Note the elephant's baby is on the beach beside it's mother.
The elephant ride is on it's way.
