Getting Stuck In- or just stuck - Insect Style

It's nice to know that we aren't the only species on this planet who get ourselves in the shit from time to time. I watched this guy carrying his dead mate, flying like a Chinook with one rotor missing. He wasn't doing too bad until he decided to try for a landing....

Earlier in the day I caught one of his other mates thoroughly enjoying himself...

Getting stuck in...


Then I snapped him in full splendour, resting after his feast.
