These small birds (Eurasian Tree Sparrows) feasted on any crumbs left behind by diners at the resturant. When there were no easy pickings available, they rested in the sand nearby. Wary of people, they rarely stayed still and flitted around constantly from one spot to another

The plantations are quite beautiful with perfectly lined trees. As you drive by, your percieved view of the plantation changes, and the trees appear to mingle, and then line up again as you pass by
